Story Hill Construction

Story Hill was founded on a passion for construction. After acquiring a degree in drafting, I moved to Laramie, WY, where I studied chemistry and worked on the side building houses to pay for my tuition. After graduating with my degree, I realized how much I enjoyed construction and wanted to pursue it as my career. Since then, I've had the opportunity to work for the fifth-largest contractor in the world, followed by one of the largest contractors in Montana, acting as quality control, estimator, and project manager for various projects. I've enjoyed mixing my 10 years of hands-on construction experience with my drafting background to optimize project designs and, subsequently, cost and material estimates. I believe that a solid plan and letting the project tell us what to do leads to the best outcomes, cutting down on time and cost, and leaving everyone feeling proud of what they have accomplished.

My wife and I bought a home in Loveland, CO, and in our free time, we have been remodeling it. Construction is my hobby, and I continue to enjoy learning new things and hope to share what I've learned with others. Imagine a house as an art canvas. There are so many possibilities for what can be designed and created. If something isn't right, it can be replaced or redone. The opportunities are endless.
